STEP ONE:ย Voilร – watch today’s video ๐ย
STEP TWO:ย Have a friend that would love this video training series too?ย Awesome! Pass this page along to them so they can sign up here =>
STEP THREE:ย Post your answer to today’s challenge question below: Which part of your retreat sales page do you need to work on – the who, what, when, where or why (or all the above)?
All of the above, I have ideas for each but I want to make each one of these the best they can possibly be.
Of course you do Nick! I would expect nothing less. ๐
All of the above in my retreat needs to be worked on, to get clients to an exciting โI wanna sign upโ mode.
Exactly, K — excellence in ALL those areas is what will get your clients into “I wanna sign up” mode! ๐
All of the above!
Excellent Raja!
I need to work on the “how”.
Excellent Allison – good clarity!
I know where and when and and needed to get crystal clear on who, what and why.
Perfect Jennifer!!
Great advice! Living your tips!
Thanks so much Sally!!
All of the above
Great Dee – carry on!
I have all areas covered except need to work on Why as I still have to work out details of itinerary.
Very good Heather – lets get that nailed down.
Hi Sheri
We have a fairly simple website, not a sales page. Do you think we still need a separate sales page?
Thanks!
Darcy
You 100% need an excellent sales page Darcy or the trip may not sell love.
Now THAT is sage advice! The trip will become alive with its very own sales page ๐
Yes Annette – that’s the idea! <3
Jut doing the groundwork for the webpage. Thanks for the info on the who, why etc
Perfect Joanne – keep going for that clarity!
Need to work on all of them but especially the why.
That’s key Jo – I would dive into that for sure! ๐
I love your two examples , so I say itโs really the clear โwhy I need to let them need to know ! Not the deep and woowoo reason
Exactly!!!! That’s the key Sweet nation – ground the reasons into everyday life for folks.
I need to work on all parts of my Page ๐
Okay Miranda – that’s a great realization. Now you know exactly what you have to address! ๐
where, which, and the page
Very good Shabnam! These items are critical to a good retreat sales page so I’m glad you are taking it all in and thinking carefully about this!
I may need help on the clarifying the why but these are awesome tips.
Great tips!!! Clarifying the why.
Yes!!! Very very important Serrell. Now we’ve got you thinking and that’s a good thing! ๐
Wow this is great information. Things I never thought about. There is so much more to putting a retreat together than I ever imagined. All of the above for me!
Thank you Jennifer! Yes you are 100% correct – there is a lot to planning a great retreat and this is why so many don’t fill!
All of the above I have some ideas, but still not settled on the What or the why…
Still working out details… and subject matter etc.
You have great ideas Raewyn – just make sure you take the time to hash it all out!
Why and How
Those are big ones for most folks Wendy – so hopefully after this training and our upcoming webinar next week – you will have a better idea of what you want to create! ๐
I need to work on the Why and the How !!!
Excellent Karen – both are so critical and will make a huge difference in how your retreat sells!
Ha! All of the above. And I am looking forward to learn more. Thank you Sheri
Excellent Patty! Thanks for sharing and for joining us! ๐
I need to refine and add more details to the Who, What, Why & How
This is really important – it’s critical to your marketing! So yes Kim, go for it. ๐
Fine tuning my โwhy – what will be solved-what will you come away withโ verbiage. I love getting more clear on this!!
That’s the idea Mimi – thanks for listening! Glad you are getting clearer – whoot! ๐
working on the why!
That’s soooooooo important Claudia! That will help get your retreats sold out! ๐
Definitely all of above to be tweaked. Sales Page vital. What do they get out of it and why my retreat is what will change their life. Thank you.
Our pleasure – if you can clearly share why folks should come on your retreat – it will go a long way in getting it sold out!
I certainly need to work on all of them
Good observation Agnes! Time to get that clarity and create that retreat! ๐
I need better focus on each element so that I can write the information concisely and in a way that grabs the reader.
Good you’ve pinpointed that, Wayne! There’s nothing more important than writing in a way that grabs your reader, and it will make all the difference in the number of signups you get!
Hmmm wonderful wisdom. I’ definitely need to work on the how. Fine tuning the structure of that. Thank you.
Excellent Grace! Thanks for listening in and I am glad it got you thinking. ๐
Everything as this will be my first retreat.
Perfect – now you know exactly what you have to hash out in your own mind Lynn! Good job!
All of the above
That’s the spirit, Valerie! ๐
I don’t have a sales pages so all of the above. However, I’ll really want to focus on the WHY. If I don’t give them a great reason to attend MY retreat then WHY would they want to attend my retreat?
True Deidre – but all sections are important. You would be surprised how some folks decide to come because of all different little reasons. A good sales page tells all – we’ll be talking more about this on the webinar. ๐
Just finished your 1st video so I’m still trying to balance the Education & the Experience… thus, I’ll need to clarify my WHY once I figure out the balance. THANK YOU! This has already been so helpful- I really look forward to Wed!
Thanks for listening Shell! I love that you are going to integrate this into your next retreat plan – awesome angel! <3
Never done a retreat. So all of the above.
Excellent Cheryl – you are off to a good start!
All of the above!!
Go for it Lanna – can’t wait to see what you create!
I need to refine and polish all of the above!
It’s great that you can see that Sandra – now you can talk action on this! ๐
Love all this information! Thank you so much for sharing it. I am brand new at this, but as I watch your video Iโm getting all kinds of amazing ideas!!
Thank you Danielle! I’m glad you are getting some awesome ideas. ๐
Hmmmm . . the Who and the benefits to the Who . . .
That’s what needs some lovin’ for me.
And the loving you put into the basics the better the trip will sell out!
All of the above. Great framework to work with.
Sounds good Michelle – now you know what you need to work on. ๐
Since this will be my 1st retreat, I will need to work on all of it but definitely the why.
At least you know where to start Shannon! Excellent.
I put together a wellness retreat in Israel for a very narrow target pop with skin conditions. Did super well with sign ups, and even got a lil nervous about the large interest and perhaps my inability to manage too large a group. So, did not make the lucrative killing!! Iโm wondering if itโs counter intuitive to making money at retreat organizing if you put a restriction on numbers within the WHO category? Or Whether the WHEN category should have a choice of dates that facilitate more than one smaller-sized groups? And, should this SALES PAGE be an online PDF downloadable via your website or something printed (poor trees….). Thanks for the video and for your responses
Cayenne, I think you might be underestimating your ability to handle larger groups. Most seasoned retreat leaders can handle groups up to 15 or even 25 if they have a good assistant or two. If you decide to limit the numbers, just be sure to charge enough for the retreat so it’s still worth your while. You’ll get some more ideas about all this on the webinar, as well as the foundation for it all: building and nurturing your tribe all year long!
This sounds like an amazing way to earn money. I’m an actress/filmmaker/artist/writer/singer/yogi and I love to travel and help people. I have many questions but it sounds wonderful.
Andrea it is wonderful! Obviously you have something special to share and retreats are an intimate and beautiful way to share any topic.
I think it is identifying the “why” that people will relate to, and putting it in authentic words that will, as you say “then blow them away” (some research to do on this). And writing the “what” in a universal way, that is clear and something they connect to.
Yes, Sharon, the “why” is critical, and writing clearly, directly and authentically will seal the deal! ๐
